Jessica Clark is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 15 years of experience working with those struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Jessica attended Pepperdine University where she received her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology. During her traineeship Jessica specialized in the treatment of opioid use disorders. Jessica went on to join the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health’s Co-Occurring Disorders Committee while working as a Program Coordinator for clients struggling with chronic mental health conditions. Jessica transitioned into substance use treatment 10 years ago and has served in various positions as Clinical Director, Program Director and is a certified clinical supervisor. Jessica is passionate about providing the support and skills necessary to those who are struggling with addiction within the compassionate and supportive environment of West LA Recovery.

Sage Hubacek is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a diverse range of experiences working with individuals who want to discover themselves more through treatment and psychotherapy. Sage was introduced to substance abuse disorder while working with teenagers and young adults struggling with co-occurring disorders. Sage attended Mount Saint Mary’s University, where she received her MS in counseling psychology, emphasizing marriage and family therapy. Sage had her traineeship working with children and families in community mental health. Once she graduated from graduate school, she continued to work with individuals who experienced traumatic events. Sage is currently trained in EMDR and enjoys working with clients in treatment who want to dive deeper into their personal experiences and how those experiences have affected their substance use.

Shir Klainman is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who recently graduated with her Masters in Social Work, concentrating in Mental Health, from Washington University in St. Louis. There, she completed an internship doing crisis work for a domestic violence non-profit and an internship facilitating individual and group therapy at an in-patient and out-patient substance use treatment center in St. Louis. She is passionate about providing accessible, trauma-informed, and person-centered services, developing clients’ skills and empowering individuals toward paths for flourishing, healing, and long-term wellness. Stephen is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Certified Addiction Specialist, with over 16 years of experience working on the Substance Use Treatment field. He is a group facilitator who provides clients with a sense of safety and openness that allows them to fully engage in the program. Stephen’s passion for working with men and women struggling with substance abuse issues came from struggling with his own personal battle with substances for 20 years and has built a reputation as a compassionate and knowledgeable professional who believes anyone can change their lives if they are willing to put forth the effort. Stephen believes that getting clean and sober isn’t enough and “it’s only through a complete mental, emotional, physical and spiritual change can a person learn to live a full and happy life again.”

Kimberly Taylor is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor based in Los Angeles. She has worked for over 20 years in the mental health and substance use field across both public and private sectors, including serving in executive management roles. Her leadership experience includes directing large-scale behavioral health programs, such as one of the largest Batterer’s Intervention Programs in Southern California.
Kimberly values collaboration in a cohesive team environment and is committed to delivering compassionate, client-centered care. She enjoys working alongside multidisciplinary teams to support meaningful outcomes in clients’ recovery and emotional well-being.
Her clinical approach integrates Gestalt therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on daily habits, neuroscience-informed strategies, and holistic methods that support long-term healing. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Keeley has worked in various substance abuse treatment settings, including intensive outpatient programs and detox facilities, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and family support. With extensive experience in case management, she is dedicated to connecting individuals with practical resources to thrive in recovery, in addition to therapeutic treatment. Utilizing a psychodynamic approach, Keeley incorporates psychoeducation to help clients understand the interplay between past experiences and present behaviors. We are pleased to introduce Vinny, who joined the West LA Recovery Team in October 2025. Vinny made a career change to addiction treatment and recovery following years in the maritime industry.
As someone personally in long-term recovery, Vinny deeply understands the challenges involved in achieving sobriety and is passionate about helping others live their best lives. He knows that with sustained sobriety, life offers endless opportunities that are well worth the effort.
In his personal time, Vinny is an avid runner and enjoys being active and surrounded by nature. His motto is: “Love yourself, love others, and you will be your best self.”
